What Learn About Pearls is#

Learn About Pearls is a general reference on pearls, free to read. Its pages explain what the cited sources say. They aren’t an appraisal, grading, identification or valuation of any particular pearl or piece of jewelry, and they aren’t legal or financial advice. Only a gemological laboratory that examines a pearl can say for certain what it is.

Every claim is checked against its source, and mistakes are fixed and listed on the corrections page. Sources can still be wrong or change, so please check anything important against the sources each page cites.

Quoting and reuse#

You may quote Learn About Pearls with attribution and a link to the page. Apart from quotation, the text is © Unique Pearl. The datasets are licensed CC BY 4.0, and each photo carries its own license in its caption. How to cite and reuse gives the details.
