## About Learn About Pearls

Learn About Pearls is a reference on pearls: how they form, the main types, quality, grading, buying and care. It’s published by Unique Pearl, a pearl jeweler based in Great Neck, New York. The site carries no advertising, and its [editorial policy](https://learnaboutpearls.com/editorial-policy/) explains how the reference is kept separate from the shop.

## Quoting and citing

Quoting Learn About Pearls with attribution and a link is welcome. Every page ends with ready-made APA, MLA, Chicago and BibTeX citations, and [how to cite and reuse](https://learnaboutpearls.com/cite/) explains the rest.
